First Presbyterian Church in Forest City, NC is made up of a small, but active group of believers. Our aim is to please God and show love to others, both in our church and community.
We welcome all people to our church regardless of race or Christian belief. We open our church to be used by various groups in the community including AA, Girl Scouts, independent Bible Study, events as well as classes for piano, violin and dance.
Forest City, NC
Forest City is a small town in western North Carolina in Rutherford County. It has many shops and restaurants. It is within driving distance of Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville (SC) and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Isothermal Community College and Gardner-Webb University are nearby.

Since 1895
Our church’s history began in 1895, after being commissioned from King’s Mountain Presbytery. Our story is a journey of a people living in a small southern town, who banded together to form a Presbyterian Church. This is their journey of faith as it connects to our journey of faith.
